Navy Mk2Mod1 7.62x51 Conversion
- Original 7.62 Navy Barrel, forged as 7.62
- WWII Era December of 1944 Original Springfield Armory Receiver, later reworked for the Navy conversion during the Navy contract circa 1960s
- These rifles sat in Navy stockpiles and saw very limited use. Extremely good condition barrel!

- One of only ~10,000 Garands upgraded to Mk2Mod1, out of over 6,000,000 Garands made.
- The MK2MOD1 was a purpose built 7.62 NATO caliber rifle, built without the problematic “barrel bushing”. The MOD1 has a 7.62 NATO chamber without the barrel bushing and is safe to use with 7.62 NATO ammunition.
